I heard many time from my employees that “oh, no risk is found during workplace inspection and its outstanding workplace”.
My respond is “Mate, there are 2 reasons on it:
Wow, we’ve removed and controlled all risks at workplaces like a Heaven.
Oops, we’ve lost our hazard identification ability and our eyes are affected to site.
Remember: we are living in Earth, not in Heaven. So eyes should be open, get time to think and observe. If you need a help to find workplace hazard and assess the risk, let me know and let’s work around and discuss”.
Even tiny activity such as drinking a coffee has own risks:
Hot coffee may burn skin.
If we don’t aware, mouth can be burnt.
Liquid spill may damage our laptop or cellphone.
Coffee spot on my shirt may ruin a day or business meeting…
Yes, our world is full of risks, but do not afraid, just learn to respond properly.
