21st Century technologies to monitor fatigue which I was using before.
1. Seeing machines: real-time driver fatigue, distraction and accident prevention technology. It tracks the eye motions and sends signal to server and wakes up the driver when technology detects sleepiness while driving. http://www.seeingmachines.com/
2. SmartCap predicts driver fatigue by measuring an operator’s brainwave to detect when they are at risk of a micro sleep. It measures an operator’s brain activity and calculates their level of alertness. SmartCap is a predictive solution that utilizes electroencephalography or EEG combined with patented technologies and specialized fatigue algorithms. SmartCap allows each operator to proactively manage their own fatigue by providing alerts in real time. http://smartcaptech.com/
I would say both of them are useful technologies and there are many of them as well which I don't know, but the cheapest and effective way of identifying fatigue is encourage employees to inform their fatigues honestly. Decision is yours.
